“Lotus has a full powder-coated aluminum case, a bright UI screen, and amazing sound exploration. All in one nice portable package.”
Artist Statement
Lotus is a granular synthesizer aimed at making the most out of a small chunk of recorded audio. Lotus can be used in any location from a studio session to the morning commute. Get inspiration at any moment and see what the most mundane sounds could make. The synthesis engine is based on a 5-second tape loop and maneuvering play heads to spawn tiny grains of audio. These play heads are the bread and butter of the lotus workflow. Each one can have its parameters and playback controlled individually. This interaction between the tape reel and play heads creates the unique and complex sounds of Lotus.
