Boopineer

About Boopineer

This started off as a personal project which I later decided to turn into a Steam game. This is just a demo and contains only a portion of what the finished product will be. You can Wishlist the game on Steam as of right now. Please enjoy, do not get too mad. This game was inspired by the difficult platformer genre. I wanted to challenge myself in terms of level design, and a game in this genre really did the trick.

Booper is a robot who has lost his body.

Booper lost most of his mobility and is left to struggle by bouncing and rolling in this precision platformer. While rolling, Booper will come across gears that will upgrade parts of his head such as his audio input and robotic eyes.

These upgrades will allow Booper to see more of the world that he is attempting to leave behind if he ever loses his way. Help Booper collect gears to unveil the world around him. Boopineer is a precision platformer. You move Booper with your keyboard. There will be some frustrations in this game, but hopefully Booper’s smile is more than enough to keep the rage down. “A” and “D” to roll, “Spacebar” to jump. Click to navigate through the Menus.

The game is left in an unfinished state, but that is the nature of a Demo. The core gameplay mechanics are there, and that is what we wanted to focus on for Hokin Honors 2021. Thank you for playing!
