SHOUT! SHOUT! FOR YOUR HEALTH: A Journal for Grrrly Hush Hush Things
Project Statement
SHOUT! SHOUT! FOR YOUR HEALTH: A Journal for Grrrly Hush Hush Things is a DIY (Do-it-yourself) and free publication for female-identifying people. It contains health information specific to female-biology related topics, essays about contemporary issues, worksheets to prepare for doctor’s visits and track medications, and (most importantly) plenty of space for women to record their experiences.
The goal of this project is two-fold: to give visibility to issues of women’s health and the existing data gaps between men, women, and intersections of women and to activate women around these issues so that they can advocate for themselves and each other.
